“The Great Gatsby (2013)”

MOVIE THEATRE REVIEW: Tonight I got to see the movie “The Great Gatsby”, which is an adaption of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s book of the same name. It stars Toby Maguire (Spider-man trilogy, Pleasantville), Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic, Inception), Carey Mulligan (Pride & Prejudice, Bleak House), and Joel Edgerton (The Odd Life of Timothy Green, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole). It is about a man named Nick (Maguire) that talks/writes the story of his experience and life story of a millionaire named Jay Gatsby (DiCaprio) to his doctor when he’s going through a stage of depression. Gatsby’s story is of trying to get back a women that he lost after going to World War I for 5 years and getting stuck in the past. To get to the women he loves, Gatsby asks Nick to set him up with her. I really liked the movie for its great story. It was a little slow here and there, but I had a great time with it! FINAL SCORE: 86%= Juicy Popcorn
