“I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry”

FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIE REVIEW: Last night I got to see the Happy Madison movie, “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” starring Kevin James (The King of Queens, Mall Cop), Adam Sandler (Grown Ups, Happy Gilmore), Steve Buscemi (Grown Ups, Big Daddy), and Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters, The Blues Brothers). It is about two firefighters named Chuck Levine (Sandler) and Larry Valentine (James). Larry is a man who lost his wife months ago and is still depressed about it having to watch his two kids. Chuck is a player who gets a bunch of women every night and is a partyer. One day on the job, Chuck gets in trouble and falls from a high place and Larry catches him saving his life getting Chuck to owe him one. Larry soon gets into trouble of his own with changing his beneficiary on his insurance policy from his dead wife to his children. The only way to change it is to get married again and since Larry doesn’t want to find another wife, he asks Chuck to help him out by getting married to get the insurance since he saved his life. Chuck accepts to help him and after they become partners, they get investigated by the pension department (Buscemi) to see if they are really in love, making them have to act gay for a longer time then they planned. To help him, they hire a hot lawyer who Chuck falls in love with to get the pension department off their backs. I thought the movie was hilarious, but it was really raunchy in parts of the movie. I would recommend this to any Adam Sandler, Happy Madison productions, or Kevin James fans to check this out except for kids. FINAL SCORE: 80%= Juicy Popcorn
