August Movie Rankings

August Movie Rankings:
Finally I was able to upload the movie rankings for August and soon after this I will upload the first review for September. So here it is!:

August 1

#7- “Identity Thief”
77%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Funny at parts, good acting, and an alright story.
Cons: I had to skip over some parts because of how the disc was scratched so most of the time I couldn’t even focus on it.

#6- “Speed Racer”
78%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great CGI, good story, the chimp and brother were funny, and an actor from my favorite show “Lost” was in it (Matthew Fox who played Jack Shephard in “Lost”).
Cons: The background of the movies a little weird and it was a little sad at how it ended up for racer X (NO SPOILERS).

August 2

#5- “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone”
81%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Funny, great story, somewhat good magic, and great acting.
Cons: Gets a little raunchy at parts and Steve Grey’s so called “magic” made my skin crawl at times (like drilling into his brain with a drill).

#4- “42”
82%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great story, great acting, had a great amount of God references, and a plus because the dodgers are my favorite baseball team.
Cons: A little slow at times.

August 3

#3- “Mud”
84%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great story, great acting (props to McConaughey), and great final scene.
Cons: Ellis was weird at how he would walk up to someone and randomly punch them in the face all the time and Reese Witherspoon’s character wasn’t in there for long.

#2- “G.I. Joe: Retaliation”
85%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Alright story, great acting, and great action scenes.
Cons: I haven’t seen the first G.I. Joe movie in a long time making me a bit lost in this movie.

August 4

#1- “The Host”
89%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great new story, great concept, great acting, and good action scenes.
Cons: A little sad at how Wanda ended up, but I guess there was no use for the certain thing (NO SPOILERS).

That raps up the August 2013 movie rankings!! “The Host” will be competing against “Oz the Great and Powerful”, “Life of Pi”, “Iron Man 3”, “Monsters University”, “The Fugitive”, and the rest of the first place winners of the rest of the months at the end of the year to see which one will be declared MOVIE OF THE YEAR!!!!!
