December Movie Rankings

DECEMBER MOVIE RANKINGS:
As this year is coming to a close, so is the reviews for 2013. It has been quite a year with over 65 movies reviewed from March to December! It is sad to end this year, but it will be all made up for when I release all of the awards to the movies in January 2014. To be exact, I will be giving out 30 awards to the movies I reviewed in total and on the side I will be reviewing more movies in January to kick off the new year. So without further ado, here are the last movie rankings of the year 2013!!!!:

December 1

#8- “The Internship”
75%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Cool story, funny, and good characters.
Cons: It can get raunchy in parts, there was a scene in a strip club that lasted for way too long, and it dragged in some areas.

#7- “R.I.P.D.”
81%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Funny, great CGI, great characters, good story.
Cons: Felt like a “MIB” movie with the concept, but it did have a little twist of it’s own I guess.

December 2

#6- “Despicable Me 2”
82%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Good story for a sequel, great animation, and funny.
Cons: I didn’t like how the ending turned out and it reminded me of how the “Ice Age” franchise went down the same direction.

#5- “Eight Crazy Nights”
84%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Very funny, good story, great characters, great animation, good songs, and it is a tradition to watch this movie.
Cons: It can get nasty in some scenes, especially the one with Whitey being licked by deer and it can get crude.

December 3

#4- “Man of Steel”
85%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great revamping of the Superman movies, great villain, good story, and great action scenes.
Cons: Jonathan Kent was a complete jerk to his son and there were only two songs in the musical score that played over and over again which was distracting me.

#3- “The Way Way Back”
87%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great story, funny, good characters, great acting, and it is a good, warm family movie.
Cons: I was really frustrated with Steve Carell’s character, but that is what made his acting great and the ending was kind of weird.

December 4

#2- “Inception”
89%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Fantastic story, great CGI, awesome acting, great concept, and amazing action scenes.
Cons: It got confusing in some instances (like the ending).

December 5

#1- “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”
92%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great story, great action scenes, great CGI, funny, good acting, and very inspirational.
Cons: For some reason the movie felt short, but I guess that that is a sign that I liked the movie a lot.

Well there you have it. The movie of the month’s for the year 2013 are complete! “Oz the Great and Powerful”, “Life of Pi”, “Iron Man 3”, “Monsters University”, “The Fugitive”, “The Host”, “Oblivion”, “Captain Phillips”, “The Italian Job”, and “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” will go head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head in January to see which movie will become the MOVIE OF THE YEAR!!!! Again I will be giving out more awards other than the movie of the year award so that the other movies could have a chance to win awards too.
