SEPTEMBER MOVIE RANKINGS: Last month was an eventful month for me and sadly I wasn’t able to upload as many reviews as I wanted. My only computer that I upload my reviews on broke in the middle of the month making it more challenging to even write them. Luckily I got five done and all of them still deserve credit where it is due (well except for the burnt popcorn one). Hopefully October is more promising, but until the first review for this month, here is the rankings for September 2014!!!!:
46%= Burnt Popcorn
Pros: It had good action scenes and the acting was good as well.
Cons: The movie felt like it was meant to let down people with a dull story line and scenes that were uncalled for. Some things made no sense making me laugh when it shouldn’t and the ending was awful.
#4- “Last Vegas”
73%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: It was funny, the acting was great, and the story was okay.
Cons: It was a dirty movie, there were goofs that were made in production that I could see, and some things seemed unrealistic.
74%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: The acting was great, the story was average, and it was of course funny.
Cons: The beginning didn’t go so well leaning in a bad direction, but it picked up in the middle. This movie is also dirty like “Last Vegas,” making the puns revolve around growing up (puberty) and it can get gross making it uncomfortable at times to watch with my younger siblings.
82%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: The movie did fairly well with a pretty good story, great concept, acting, action scenes, and amazing special effects that came with it.
Cons: It got rough in some patches meaning that the story got slow and dragged.
#1- “Mission Impossible III”
87%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: The movie was a much better improvement from the second one, redeeming Tom Cruise and this movie franchise. The acting was great, the story was thrilling, the action scenes were awesome, and the special effects were stellar. It also had an added plot twist which was a great surprise.
Cons: It began to lose momentum when it got to the middle of the movie, but when it got closer to the end it picked up.
There you have it once again! “Mission Impossible III” will be going up against “The Pursuit of Happyness,” “Zombieland,” “300,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Forrest Gump,” “Edge of Tomorrow,” “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” “The Matrix,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and the rest of the months in January 2015 to decide which movie will be 2014’s Movie of the Year!!!!! I can’t wait to see which one will be crowned champion! Stay tuned to read the first review of October.
