GREEN JEANS MOVIE REVIEW: Tonight I got to see a movie that I have been wanting to see on and off again for a year or two now called “In Time”. It stars Justin Timberlake (Shark Tale, Get Smart), Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!), Cillian Murphy (Inception, Batman Begins), and Johnny Galecki (The Big Bang Theory, Christmas Vacation). In this movie, time is money, literally! Instead of money, people use time on their life to buy things and to do stuff. Poor people don’t have much time though and they usually don’t live long while the rich can live longer. But even if your rich or poor, there is not enough time that even a guys mother of 50 years looks 20 years old. This story revolves around Will Salas (Timberlake) who lives in the ghetto part of life and is a simple working guy. One day though he saves this man from getting killed in a bar and in return the man gives Will all of his time which is over one hundred years worth because he wanted to die. So Will goes out and tries to do good with it, but when his mother dies he goes over the edge and buys fancy stuff and eventually gets invited to one of the richest people’s house. There he is found by the timekeeper (Murphy) who comes to collect the time that isn’t his leaving him with two hours to live where he then takes the rich man’s daughter, Sylvia (Seyfried), hostage so that the timekeeper will stop chasing him around. Eventually Sylvia goes on his side and they rob places for time for themselves and the poor people who deserve it. I put this movie off a lot because I saw that is movie got terrible reviews and I didn’t think that it would be good. But now that I saw it, I’m glad I did because it was actually descent. The action scenes were great and the dialogue was good too. It got a little slow in the middle, but other than that it was alright! FINAL SCORE: 80%= Juicy Popcorn
